“Bright Future” Programme

“Bright Future” Programme

The educational project “Bright Future” is a series of educational activities aimed at the multifaceted development of young people.

The challenge

The educational project “Bright Future” provides an opportunity for self-development; acquisition of new knowledge and practical experience; finding motivation and inspiration; and overcoming stress caused by war. The participation of young people in various educational activities allowed them to see opportunities for self-realization, change stereotyped thinking, expand their circle of friends, develop leadership qualities, improve financial literacy, strengthen civic consciousness, and learn practices for overcoming fear and negative thoughts.

How we worked together

The programme gives young people the opportunity to develop in many ways. Young people see more opportunities and participate not only in our activities but also other initiatives in the community. A youth music group and a series of podcasts were created. A youth festival was organized. In total, over 600 young people participated in over 400 hours of activities.

During the project I received a lot of useful information. This is an interesting way to involve young people in education. I liked absolutely everything, the trainings were interesting, and the information was presented in a creative format, which makes it much easier to absorb. In general, the project inspired me to engage in social activities and promote certain topics, and of course I would like to study all the topics of the project more deeply to better understand them.

It was very valuable for me to participate in the Literary and Art School. Since I am a creative person (I play musical instruments, write music, poems), this project gave me a good opportunity to improve my skills and communicate with pen artists. I was also a member of the Youth Local History Club, where we had the opportunity to learn a lot of information about my native land, which I did not know before. Excursions in Cherkasy region also helped to expand my horizons.

Today, it is extremely important to interest students in science and to show that it can be interesting. A tour of science museums helped me understand this. And, although I still decided to connect my future with another field of activity, this project made me understand that science is definitely not for me.

Another important project in my life was the Leadership Academy “LEAD-TIME”, where I had the opportunity to speak in public, share my experience and help other teenagers develop. I have long dreamed of trying myself as a coach. This event made that dream come true and ignited me even more in youth work.

Thanks to Scatec for the social projects and the opportunity given to young people to develop various skills.
