The initiative encourages students to create science projects addressing real community challenges, with a focus on innovation and sustainability. t links learning to practice and social impact.
The challenge
Engaging the entire school community in an innovative project was a major challenge, requiring teacher training and understanding of applied science. Limited resources demanded creativity to build prototypes with simple materials, while keeping the focus on sustainable and locally relevant solutions.
How we worked together
We brought teachers, students, and academic partners together to turn ideas into real solutions. Collaborative workshops, technical guidance, and pedagogical support enabled over 200 students to create projects addressing local environmental challenges. This teamwork strengthened scientific culture, fostered critical thinking, and delivered social impact by linking knowledge to practice and sustainability.
Key results
- 200Students engaged
- 50+Science projects presented
- 3Teacher training workshops
- 1Major science fair executed
It’s rare to see university, business, and public school working together. Here, this pioneering alliance is already transforming students’ futures – and it deserves to be written and published.”

Community investments are our voluntary initiatives that contribute to the long-term common good of local communities and come in addition to efforts made to mitigate or compensate for project-related impacts. We are committed to contributing to the communities in a way that allows them to develop by themselves without becoming dependent on us.
